Important notes

  • New backups to BeePhotos will no longer support right-clicking on photos to restore them from historical versions. When connecting to BeePhotos via SMB, photos will be located in \home\Photos\PhotoLibrary\ and organized into folders based on their capture date and time. This change aims to provide photo deduplication and utilize storage space more efficiently. Note that this change will not affect existing backups created prior to the update.

What's new

  • Added support for the photo transfer (currently in Beta) feature, allowing you to import takeout files from Google Photos or iCloud Photos to BeePhotos.
  • Added support for displaying sync status in the system tray icon during the synchronization process.

macOS

  • Added support for using keyboard shortcuts on the login page, including copy and paste.

  1. Supports accessing files in "My Files" on-demand within File Explorer/Finder. Files are downloaded to the computer only when opened, modified, or saved.

  3. Supports setting up real-time one-way backup of photos and videos from the computer to BeePhotos.
  4. Supports restoring previous versions of backed-up files and folders from BeeStation.
