1. Hybrid Share 1.4.2 was previously updated on May 21, 2024. This update includes all changes from Hybrid Share 1.4.2-1721.

Fixed Issues

1. Fixed an issue preventing folder deletion when Recycle Bin has been enabled.
2. Fixed an issue where saving files using certain applications could unexpectedly create extra folders when Recycle Bin has been enabled.
3. Fixed an issue where permissions settings could be overwritten when configuring domains or LDAP servers interactively across multiple NAS.
4. Fixed an issue where shared folders could become unusable due to an abnormal system shutdown.

1. Optimized upload processes now allow for faster uploading of multiple files under 3MB each.

6. Updated the file pinning mechanism in multi-NAS environments to automatically store pinned subdirectories and files locally.
7. Fixed an issue preventing Hybrid Share package activation due to timeouts caused by shared folders containing more than 10 million files.
8. Fixed an issue preventing system shutdowns due to failed package deactivation.
9. Fixed an issue where Hybrid Share folders mounted on multiple NAS devices might appear deactivated when the DSM Control Panel was accessed simultaneously by different users.
10. Resolved a temporary disruption of file uploads and downloads during snapshot restoration.

Limitations

1. The same Hybrid Share folder can be mounted on up to five Synology NAS devices concurrently.
2. Hybrid Share folders cannot be mounted on a high-availability cluster created with two different Synology NAS models.
3. CIFS/NFS remote folders cannot be mounted in a Hybrid Share folder.
4. When connecting multiple Synology NAS to the same Hybrid Share folder, join these devices to the same domain or LDAP to synchronize file permissions.
5. Hybrid Share folders cannot be set as sync folders in Synology Drive ShareSync.
6. Hybrid Share is not supported in China.
