® Inc. today announced the release of three new open source PHP applications for DiskStation series, expanding the total number of verified third party applications to thirty-five. The three new additional applications are Coppermine 1.5.14, Dokeos 2.0, and WebCalender 1.2.3.
Coppermine 1.5.14 is a fast and feature-rich photo gallery management library that offers private galleries, automatic thumbnail creation, e-card feature, and template system.
Dokeos 2.0 is a dedicated open source learning suite that provides all the features needed for e-learning and blended learning management from authoring to reporting.
WebCalendar 1.2.3 is a PHP-based calendar application that can be configured as a single-user calendar, a multi-user calendar for groups of users, or as an event calendar viewable by visitors.
In addition to the release of new third party applications, seven open source PHP applications is updated with advance features and enhancements for DiskStation users. The latest update includes Gallery 3.0.2, oscommerce 2.3.1, oscommerce 3.0.1, LifeType 1.2.11, Nucleus 3.6.3, Zimplit 3.0, and XOOPS 2.5.0. The additional third party applications enable Synology users to encounter greater experience and productivity through their DiskStation. All of the above featured applications are validated with full compatibility for all DiskStation running on DSM 3.2 system.
