Synology® Presents Live at CeBIT 2017
Düsseldorf 22.02.2017 –The innovative NAS manufacturer Synology® Inc. will once again attend this year's trade show CeBIT in Hannover, to present its solutions and upcoming products. With a booth size over 200sqm, Synology will be exhibiting their newest technology in hall 2, stand B52.
In addition to daily live presentations, there will be eight interactive demo areas featuring highlights and future perspectives. In special focus lies the latest official version of Synology's awarded operating system DiskStation Manager – DSM 6.1 - for optimized data security and improvements in daily IT administrations. Visitors will experience a whole range of applications with productivity tools like MailPlus, Office, Calendar, Note Station & VPN Plus, and witness the newest functions for sharing, searching and organizing data. The surveillance segment will be presented with an informative videowall. Additionally, two demo areas will focus on data security solutions, covering easy and intuitive backup solutions for small business, and disaster recovery scenarios for bigger companies. In this area, upcoming Synology products and recently launched models such as the Synology Router RT2600ac will be the main focal point.
A special highlight is the new Synology Virtual Machine Manager Beta version. To demonstrate the quality and capability of the soon to be released Virtual Machine Manager Beta version, Synology will host most of their showcase areas in a Virtual DSM Cluster, run on the powerful RS3617xs+ and FS3017 – Synology's first All-Flash-NAS.
This year, Synology has also established an individual partner area. Visitors can witness highlights from Axis Communication, ioSafe, Samsung and Seagate through live presentations on stage and in-depth personal consultations at the demo area. Seagate will be featuring the new IronWolf Health Management (IHM) technology which effectively monitors the health status of IronWolf drives exclusively on DSM 6.1.
