Release Notes for exFAT Access

Microsoft exFAT (Extended File Allocation Table) ist ein für Flash-Speicher optimiertes Dateisystem. Wenn exFAT installiert ist, können Sie auf Ihrem NAS auf externe Geräte mit dem exFAT-Dateisystem zugreifen. Im Gegensatz zu FAT32 unterstützt exFAT Dateigrößen über 4 GB und kann sowohl in Windows als auch mit Mac verwendet werden. Nachdem Microsoft 2019 angekündigt hat, exFAT in den Linux- Kernel zu integrieren, können Synology-Benutzer exFAT kostenlos installieren, indem sie auf DSM 7.0 oder höher aktualisieren.
