Synology^® Releases August Peripherals Update with Newly Supported Two Internal and One External Hard Drive

Taipei, Taiwan—August 10, 2009—Synology^® Inc. today announced the compatibility of its Disk Station with Seagate 3.5" internal HDD ST32000542AS (2TB), Apacer 2.5" internal SSD A7 Pro SSD A7201 (32GB) and Western Digital 3.5" external HDD My Book Premium Edition II (2TB). All of the above models have successfully passed a series of stress and compatibility tests in the Synology laboratory and have been proven to be compatible with selected models of Disk Station.

Seagate ST32000542AS (2TB) is compatible with x09, x08, and x07 series of Disk Station. Apacer A7 Pro SSD A7201 (32GB) is compatible with DS409 and DS409slim. Once equipped with Synology 2.5" disk holder, it's also compatible with DS409+, DS209+II, DS209+, DS209, DS209j, DS109+, DS109 and DS109j.
