La instalación de SMI-S Provider hace posible que su Synology NAS satisfaga el estándar industrial de gestión de almacenamiento SMI-S. La optimización con System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) de Microsoft permite que un administrador de TI gestione varios servidores Synology NAS como nodos de almacenamiento a través de la interfaz de usuario centralizada de SCVMM.
