Release Notes for UC3200

Version: 3.1.1-23036

(2021-09-07)

Important Note

  1. The update is expected to be available for all regions within the next few days, although the time of release in each region may vary slightly.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed a security vulnerability regarding OpenSSL (CVE-2021-3712).
  2. Fixed an issue where iSCSI services may be disconnected when the iSCSI connection was set on a Link Aggregation interface with MTU value 9000.
  3. Fixed an issue where the datastores on the LUNs that are mapped to the targets may not be mounted properly after user reconnected iSCSI targets from VMware ESXi hosts.

Version: 3.1-23033

(2021-06-01)

Important Note

  1. The update is expected to be available for all regions within the next few days, although the time of release in each region may vary slightly.
  2. This update includes a fix to an issue found in 3.1-23028 where the I/O operation might fail when the system was performing hardware accelerated copy.
  3. When you reconnect to iSCSI targets from your VMware ESXi hosts after the DSM update, the datastores on the LUNs that are mapped to the targets may not be mounted properly. This only happens to LUNs created before the update. The resolution can be found in VMware Knowledge Base.

What's New

  1. SAN Manager is the successor of iSCSI Manager, offering centralized management for iSCSI and Fibre Channel services.
  2. Added support for the Fibre Channel protocol to provide high performance and stable storage for your SAN environments.
  3. Added the Space Reclamation schedule for you to decide when or when not to reclaim the space from deleted data.
  4. Reduced the impact on I/O performance during Space Reclamation.
  5. Greatly reduced the time needed to initialize Thick Provisioned LUNs after creation.
  6. The new LED indicator behavior makes the system status easier to distinguish.

Version: 3.1-23028

(2021-05-04)

Important Note

  1. This update is recalled on May 5, 2021.
