Visit Synology® at Computex 2013

Taipei (Taiwan) – May 21, 2013 – At Computex 2013 in Taipei, Taiwan, Synology® Inc. will unveil a series of upcoming new looks, including DiskStation DS214+ that features multimedia transcoding and the award-winning DiskStation Manager (DSM) 4.2, the OS running on every Synology NAS. Video streaming and content sharing among multiple devices have been spreading under the emerging concept of “Connected Home.” DS214+ will make its debut in Computex 2013, showcasing its video transcoding function that speeds up the multimedia flow among multiple devices. Users are able to optimize the viewing experience, thanks to Synology unique DSM 4.2. It ensures compatibility with DLNA certified devices, Apple TV and various mobile devices.

Synology will demonstrate unique packages services aimed to answer to the surging needs for multi-sites collaborations and growing tendency for employees to bring their own device to work. This will include Cloud Station, which grants enterprise with an economical private cloud, granting automatic file synchronization with strict level of encryption. In the video surveillance area, Synology will present its Central Management System (CMS), dedicated to large-scale surveillance deployment, and Synology NVR614 that features dual HDMI output and allows users to live view 8 channels of instant and play-back images in HD 720p resolution.
