Important Product Update for VisualStation VS960HD
Bellevue, Wa—July 29, 2021—Synology products are designed with long product lifecycles in mind, leveraging long-term agreements and component reserves to ensure stable stocks of these products across markets.
However, recent supply-side disruptions have resulted in vital components used in the VS960HD being abruptly discontinued by the manufacturer. In response, Synology is prematurely discontinuing the VS960HD as availability will cease after existing supplies are exhausted.
For existing VS960HD customers, product support is unaffected, and the device will continue to receive software updates. Synology separately maintains repair and replacement parts so that after-sales support is unaffected by the discontinuation of the component.
