Taipei, Taiwan— 22 March 2016 —Synology® Inc. was featured in the 10th Quality Awards survey for NAS systems by TechTarget and received the highest overall ranking, outscoring other enterprise-level storage manufacturers, including HPE, NetApp, EMC, Dell, and IBM.

Among all the manufacturers, Synology is the youngest but also the highest ranked company. Those who participated in the survey were using RackStation models from the XS/XS+ or Plus series, Synology's high-end rack servers aimed at delivering reliable and fast file serving and backup. Synology scored its highest grades in product features (6.31) and especially initial product quality (6.57), where "the SMB-focused vendor notched a category average of 6.57 by racking up the highest marks for each statement (with one tie)."
