Synology® Empowers Wüstenrot & Württembergische Group with Secure Data Exchange

Taipei, Taiwan—August 15, 2019—Synology Inc. today announced it has worked with the Wüstenrot & Württembergische Group (W&W) to deploy an on-premises file server solution that realizes centralized data exchange with high-level data security.
Spanning across insurance and banking fields, the W&W Group is a German financial service provider that deals in financial security, property investment, risk protection and private wealth management. The group was challenged by complex and costly deployments when updating Windows XP to Windows 8 among its 1,300 field agencies and directorates.
The group opted for Synology as their data exchange solution after extensive market research and evaluations. The deployment of 1-bay DiskStation DS114 in smaller agencies and more powerful RS814+ in larger regional offices and county directorates has put in place a secure, centralized file sharing and data exchange solution.
