Synology® unveils FC600: bringing AI-powered 360° coverage, flexible deployment, and seamless management to indoor surveillance

Taipei, Taiwan — 23 September 2026 — Synology^® today announced the launch of the FC600, a compact 6MP indoor fisheye camera designed to deliver comprehensive 360° panoramic surveillance with on-camera AI analytics and flexible deployment options.

Crystal-clear panoramic surveillance

The FC600 captures high-resolution 2560 × 2560 HDR video at 30 FPS, providing sharp, detailed imaging across a full 360° field of view. Its high-power infrared LEDs ensure clear night vision up to 10 meters, enhancing security even in low-light conditions.

Flexible viewing and deployment

With built-in dewarping, the FC600 supports multiple view modes such as quad view (4R) and dual 180° view (2P), allowing a single camera to cover large spaces that might otherwise require multiple devices. The camera supports both ceiling and wall mounting to suit diverse indoor environments, including offices, retail stores, schools, and hospitals.

Designed for maximum deployment flexibility, the FC600 integrates seamlessly with Synology Surveillance Station and Surveillance365, allowing organizations to deploy and manage surveillance according to their operational needs. It also supports ONVIF for integration with third-party NVR and VMS platforms, making it easy to fit into existing surveillance infrastructures.

AI-powered security at the edge

The FC600 features on-camera AI analytics, including People Detection, Intrusion Detection for human targets, and Audio Detection, enabling faster incident response and more proactive security monitoring. By processing events directly on the camera, organizations can improve efficiency while reducing manual monitoring efforts.

For deployments requiring deeper operational insights, the FC600 also supports advanced analytics such as People Counting and counting reports when used with Synology Surveillance Station.

Seamless management and privacy safeguards

The FC600 integrates effortlessly within the Synology surveillance ecosystem, enabling streamlined device management, firmware updates, and secure video transmission with HTTPS and SRTP support. NDAA-compliant and designed with privacy in mind, it also provides privacy masking and encrypted recording to help organizations meet security and compliance requirements.
