限制
- 虛擬機器僅能在有超過 2 GB 記憶體的 Synology NAS 上運行
- 虛擬機器資料僅能儲存在 Btrfs 儲存空間
- 不支援匯入 / 匯出虛擬硬碟大小超過 2 TB 的虛擬機器
- 若選擇 UEFI 做為虛擬機器韌體，解析度上限為 800x600
- Virtual DSM 不支援的功能如下：
- USB Passthrough
- 控制台：外接裝置、硬體 ＆ 電源
- 網路功能，包含無線網卡、MTU、LACP
- 在沒有 Virtual DSM 授權的情況下，每台主機僅能運行 1 個 Virtual DSM。在主機上運行的 Virtual DSM 建議數量將依機種而定
