Release Notes for QuickConnect

QuickConnect allows client applications to connect to your Synology NAS via the Internet without setting up port forwarding rules. It can also work with Synology-developed packages, such as File Station, Surveillance Station, Synology Drive, Synology Photos, and mobile applications.

  1. QuickConnect 1.0.6-0134 is an important version re-released on December 27, 2023. This version fixed high CPU usage on Synology NAS where users did not enable QuickConnect but the system unexpectedly enabled the service.
