This tutorial will guide you through how to load the VirtIO SCSI driver (Guest Tool for Virtual Machine Manager) to resolve the possible problem where no drives can be found in the process of Windows setup.

Download Guest Tool

Download Guest Tool for Virtual Machine Manager here or go to Image and click Download Guest Tool in Virtual Machine Manager.

Mount additional ISO file of virtual machine

1. Choose the Windows virtual machine, and click Edit.
2. Select the ISO file and click OK.
   

Load VirtIO storage driver for Windows Setup

1. Click Load driver for Windows Setup.
   
2. Click Browse.
   
3. Select the folder (amd64 or x86) in the mounted ISO file. Then click OK.
   
4. Select the driver to install. Click Next to continue Windows Setup.
   
5. Now you can find the drive available for the following setup.
