Bug Fixed

1. Fixed an issue where certain M4A files could not be played properly.
2. Fixed an issue where signing in to the DS audio mobile app via an Android Auto device might cause an unexpected crash.
3. Fixed an issue where volume control on DLNA devices might not be stable.
4. Fixed an issue where certain networks might cause the connection with the DS audio mobile app to time out.

1. Fixed an issue that prevented playback of ALAC audio files.

Important Notes

1. Updated to be compatible with Advanced Media Extensions 3.0.
2. AAC-encoded content can be decoded and natively played back by most end devices, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs. Server-side transcoding of AAC-encoded content has been a redundant and resource-consuming process that was removed starting from DSM 7.1.1.
   • Playback of AAC files via Chromecast is no longer supported.
   • Playback of M4A (recordings made on iPhones) is no longer supported.
   • Removed options for transcoding AAC files.

Compatibility & Installation

1. This version is the last version that supports DSM 3.2 and below. It is recommended that you update to DSM 4.0 or above to use the next version of DS audio.

1. Fixed an issue where DS audio could not switch on the equalizer.
2. Fixed an issue where the remote player might stop playing upon switching players.
3. Fixed an issue where Chromecast might not display the album cover, metadata, and rating bar properly.
