Camera Storage

In the Camera Storage tab, you can enable edge recording and configure recording and storage settings.

To enable edge recording:

  1. Go to IP Camera, select a camera, and click Edit.
  2. Go to Edge Recording > Camera Storage and select Enable edge recording to record and store videos to the camera storage.
  3. Under Recording mode, select either Continuous or Same as camera.
    • For Continuous, you can select the checkboxes as the recording mode, or specify the Frequency and Time to record.
    • For Same as camera, go to the camera's web interface to edit the recording schedule.
  4. Under Recording, set the Stream setting, Pre-recording time before an event (sec.), and Post-recording time after an event (sec.).
  5. You can also click Format Camera Storage to remove all the recordings, or click check Check Camera Storage the status of the SD card.

Note:

  • Make sure to use SD cards certified by your camera manufacturer to prevent possible retrieval issues.
  • Edge Recording does not support streaming MJPEG recordings larger than 2040x2040 pixels over RTSP.
