Bellevue, WA (June 13, 2023) - Synology, a leader in IT management and data storage solutions, today announced that it has won PCMag's annual Readers' Choice award for Home Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Business Choice awards for both Home Office NAS and IT Manager's Choice. This marks Synology's 12th win in a row for Readers' Choice, and the ninth win in a row for Business Choice in the Home Office NAS division.
"We are thrilled that PCMag readers and business users have once again given us such exemplary ratings," said Will Davis, director of business development at Synology. "With data growing at an exponential rate, businesses and home-users alike need storage solutions that they can trust. These wins show us that users have confidence in our products to manage and protect their data."
Each year PCMag surveys its readers and business users to evaluate the top brands in several different categories. Each brand is evaluated for overall satisfaction, set up, value, tech support, reliability, ease of use, and likelihood to recommend, to name a few.
PCMag Reader's Choice Award Winner
For Reader's Choice, Synology has won 12 years in a row for the NAS Devices division. With an 9.2 out of 10 in overall satisfaction and a 9.3 in the likelihood to recommend, Synology far outpaced its competitors in these categories.
PCMag Business Choice Award Winner
For PCMag's Business choice awards, Synology won in two separate divisions, Home-Office NAS and IT Manager's Choice. Synology has won the Home-Office NAS award every year since PCMag started it in 2013, and earned an 9.4 rating for likelihood to recommend and a 9.2 in overall satisfaction from PCMag business respondents.

Synology NAS provides a centralized location on a network to store data. With Synology's DiskStation Manager (DSM) software, users are able to build a private cloud to store manage, backup and share their data through several different add-on packages and license-free applications.
