How do I check the PID and VID of my USB device?
Details
USB devices (especially Wi-Fi and LTE dongles) often have regional variants while retaining the same model name. This means that chipsets and driver support may vary. Even if a specific model may work on your Synology NAS or Synology Router, a newer version of the same model may not. Therefore, it is important to know the PID and VID of your device.
