New Country Manager for Synology® GmbH
Taipei, Taiwan – February 02, 2012 – Synology® today announces the appointment of Alex Wang as the new Country Manager for Synology GmbH, effective immediately. Wang succeeds Victor Chiang who will continue his responsibilities with Synology headquarters in Taiwan.
Prior to the new position, Wang was the Managing Director of Synology UK and was responsible for expanding Synology's presence throughout the regions of UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. He also served as the Sales Director during his nine years history at Synology. “Alex brings tremendous depth of knowledge from his previous roles, which we believe will elevate the businesses of Synology GmbH,” said Vic Hsu, CEO of Synology Inc.
“Germany is one of the most important markets in Europe. While we have performed consistently well in the past years, my goal is to continue to invest heavily in marketing, expand the business channels, and provide the best support to our users and partners,” Wang added.
