Yes, the CC400W camera is equipped with night vision capabilities. It uses infrared technology to provide clear monitoring even in low-light or dark environments. The high-power infrared LED ensures clear night vision up to 10 meters.
The CC400W IP camera provides edge recording support with microSD cards (up to 256 GB), which enables failover storage for enhanced system reliability during network failure.
Recording autonomy depends on the bitrate (which, if set to Variable Bitrate, in turn depends on the scene) and the size of the microSD card. For example: A 3 Mbps stream will generate about 32 GB per day. Thus, a 256 GB microSD card can comfortably store at least 6 days of footage.
The CC400W camera is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. It has an IP65 weather resistance rating and can operate between -4˚F to 104˚F (-20˚C to 40˚C)
The in-camera AI capabilities of the camera include people, vehicle, intrusion detection, and auto tracking. However, facial recognition, license plate recognition, and people counting requires a compatible DVA system. The DVA system is needed to store and process the facial database and to ensure consistency across multiple cameras.
All camera based edge AI detection features can run simultaneously on a Synology camera. On the BC800Z, Smoke Detection and License Plate Recognition cannot be enabled at the same time, and only one of these two features can be used. All other AI detection features can operate concurrently.
