Device Pack

Device Pack enhances the camera compatibility of Surveillance Station. You can update it from Application Center or download it directly from Synology's Download Center.

Note:

  • There may be some compatibility issues if you update Device Pack without getting the latest camera firmware.

To restore Device Pack to default:

  1. Select Device Pack from the left panel.
  2. Click Action.
  3. Select Restore Defaults from the drop-down list.
  4. A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Yes to continue.

To update Device Pack:

  1. Check the Auto-update box to allow automatic updates for Device Pack. An orange Update button will also appear under the Device Pack icon to indicate that a new version is available.

Note:

  • After restoring defaults or updating Device Pack, Surveillance Station will be reloaded and related application windows will be closed. Please make sure all the other tasks are finished in advance.
