All Synology NAS products can directly stream Direct Stream Digital (DSD) files via Media Server or Audio Station to your DLNA devices or UPnP renderers for playback. However, audio conversion is required when playing DSD files via Audio Station on web browsers, Bluetooth, USB, or AirPlay.

The following Synology NAS products do not support DSD audio conversion due to performance or positioning reasons. For Synology products not listed here, they have not been tested, and support for untested products is not guaranteed. Please stream DSD files to DLNA or UPnP devices instead.
