How do I add a camera in a different network to Surveillance Station?
Details
If your Synology server and IP camera are in the same local area network but in different subnets (e.g., a first-floor server and second-floor camera), use the scan IP range function or manually enter the camera information to add the camera. If your server and camera are connected to the Internet with different routers and are on different network segments (e.g., an office server and a home camera), you need to set up port forwarding in advanced to allow the server to access to your camera over the Internet.
Resolution
Set up port forwarding rules
