Synology^® Releases Synology DSM 2.3 Update to Support Scheduled Power On for the Synology DS1010+/DS710+ and other Enhancements for all models

Taipei, Taiwan—April 22, 2010—Synology^® Inc. today released DSM 2.3 update version DSM2.3-1157 to support scheduled power on function on its DiskStation DS1010+ and DS710+ and enhance Audio Station and Surveillance Station on 10-series, 09-series, 08-series, 07-series DiskStation models.

In addition to the scheduled power off feature, the scheduled power on is frequently requested since the debut of Synology DS1010+ and DS710+. "We are glad this great add-on is made available to further fulfill users' needs to have a better control of the server power usage," said Rosiel Lee, product manager of Synology.

Other enhancements include M3U Internet radio playlist support for Audio Station 2 and better live view quality on Surveillance Station 4 when using the Safari and Firefox browsers.
