Synology® Releases Toolchain for the Synology DiskStation DS1010+
Taipei, Taiwan—January 28, 2010—Synology® Inc. today released toolchain for Synology DiskStation DS1010+ for the open source community to develop and install third-party applications on the Synology DiskStation.
The toolchain consists of a compiler and linker to transform source code into an executable program, along with libraries or kernel modules to run on the Synology DS1010+.
"With the release of the toolchain, we have opened up the ability for users and system integrators to develop and install third-party applications on Synology DiskStations," said Edward Lin, marketing director of Synology Inc.
