I'm using several NAS (total of 10) of different brands. Now I'm looking for extending my small NAS-farm and at the end I decided to buy a Synology again (DS1512+). The reason is, Synology is by far the only company I really trust, you offer your latest firmware even for your older products! That is great and gives me (and all other customers) the feeling to buy a realiable product. Thank you for your great support and I will tell it to everybody.

Dear Sir / Madam, I would like to say thank you for your great products. I've owned and still use a DiskStation DS207+ and have been quite happy with it. I've just upgraded to a DS213+. Not only the operating system, DSM, is perfectly easy to setup and manage but also the hardware has everything I need. Aside from the high performance, the system hibernation is also a feature that impresses me. Now the DiskStation runs 24/7. Thanks a lot!

On Monday I had a hard drive failure, upon replacing the drives I made a fatal mistake causing my volume to crash. I was unable to rebuild the volume but within a very short time Synology support was able to restore my volume and data. Amazing support! I strongly recommend considering Synology - they have made me a very happy customer - Thank you.

Thanks for SHR (Synology Hybrid RAID), there was no loss of data.SHR was my main argument of purchase and I do not regret it (I have one 1TB and two 2TB HDD). Dear Synology, It’s not easy to get me to write to a company about a product I've bought and praise them. In fact, I've actually never done this before until now. I've been using my DiskStation DS509+ for nearly 3 years and except for a round of very quick, friendly, and professional support contact in the beginning, it is still working perfectly well (nowadays, CPU is getting a bit low for all those apps I have installed). I'm especially impressed with all the fantastic updates and improvements you have provided over the years (and always free of charge!). I've never used or bought a product that has been maintained and cared for by its company for so long. I applaud you! The reason why I decided to write now is your new DS video app. I was very impressed by it. It still needs some improving, but I have tried other products that try to do the same (cataloging of movies etc.) but they never worked very well. DS video is already amazing! The coolest part is definitely that it's open source, I've tweaked some awesome apps into my DS that made my life a lot easier. I love that! Unfortunately, that is also the reason, why I've almost used up my 5TB of disk space (I'm already planning the migration on 15 or 20 TB). Well, all I have left to say is, thank you very, very much for your awesome product, support and work! Kind regards,

I would just like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your excellent DiskStation products. I currently own just one DS211 however even this lower end unit has transformed the manageability of my home IT systems. Although I'm only a home user, everything, with the exception of e-mail now runs on the impressive little box - from the awesome admin GUI and well designed packages to the general throughput of the device I am continually impressed at how well the device performs. I am now saving towards a larger unit which will ultimately enable the transfer of all functions to the one device, this will enable me to decommission other equipment which is expensive to run and maintain. Well done Synology, and thank you for your support and the creation of such a wonderful product :)

A few years ago I purchased a DS-210j and was impressed the moment I set it up... by the great documentation, clean user interface, simplicity of setup, loads of available services and apps, and the peace of mind it provides having my files backed up locally. Night and day, my DiskStation works reliably and quietly out of sight. I figured that was the end of the story, but no! Roll forward a few years and your product continues to impress. Recently I downloaded the latest updates, and was happy to see a slew of new services... Cloud Station, VPN Server, and so many more - and for FREE! I absolutely love Cloud Station. For the guy that doesn't want to hand over his files to Microsoft or Google, this is so great :) Also, the Android apps for my smart phone are awesome. It's unbelievable how much functionality you've crammed into a single product line! And it just keeps getting better and better.

Setting up the DS112 to work and synchronize across all devices proved challenging at first. Once you get to understand how this unit works and start to explore its features you are rewarded with a very good NAS that can be set up exactly how you want it to work for your situation. What I found really impressive was the level of support from Synology helping me to overcome connection issues, prompt, efficient and patient support, just how it should be.

Synology never ceases to amaze me, as per a previous email I sent, I stupidly had a senior moment and deleted a main folder which coupled with a power outage caused the main drive to not boot up, resulting in the loss of a huge amount of data accumulated over many years. This was a MAJOR Catastrophe , however I submitted a support ticket and then called your office in Taiwan and spoke to Antoine. He was extremely professional and proceeded to guide me to Re-Setup my NAS, re-install the DSM OS and then set up remote access following which he set in motion the recovery of my data from Disk 2 onto the newly setup Disk 1. A GREAT result and my compliments to a very professional and customer focused team.

I just wanted to congratulate you guys and pass on my thanks for creating excellent devices, and offering software that goes far beyond my wildest expectations. On the hardware side, the build quality, style, robustness and ease of use of your products are second to none. My sincerest thanks and congratulations to everyone responsible for designing, building and testing the hardware. On the software side of things, my mind was simply blown. Firstly, the Linux support is incredible, and something so many manufacturers are lacking. I cannot possibly thank everyone responsible for the software enough. DSM is also an amazing piece of software, and surpassed all expectations of the generic, bland, featureless software so often seen on devices like this. I hope this message gets passed to everyone who has clearly worked so hard on Synology's products, and have made devices to truly be proud of. Seriously, I'd buy everyone at Synology a cake if I could!

I recently updated my wife's iPad to iOS Version 5. She asked if she could use the new iOS 5 print feature with our Synology NAS DS210j which is configured as our print server. She tried printing and it did not work. I checked the Synology website and there was already an update that offered AirPrint ... Fantastic ! Keep up the good work !

Let me just say that was the BEST investment we have ever made. Since then we have purchase several Synology products, never had a down time, this is a work horse working 24/7 365 days. If you are looking for NAS, buy Synology, you will never regret it.
