I had a pretty serious issue with one of my units here, that could normally only be fixed by reinstalling DSM on the unit. With the device being in production though, that was easier said than done. Faced with this, my support agent (Tim Dring, UK Technical Support), secured me a patch that could fix the issue, now the device is back up to running normally and in record time. Highly impressed and shall certainly continue to recommend Synology products, they're one of the few devices in my networks I can trust to just get on with the task required of them. I would also love to commend Tim in particular, for not only being an incredible support agent, but also being highly personable and answering all of my questions with a thorough and clear answer."

Hi James, At the gadget show last week you took some time to explain to me how to fix a problem I was having getting my Synology set up properly again after switching ISP to Virgin Media. I was able to fix the issue within 15 minutes of getting home that day. So I just wanted to say thanks to you for explaining how to fix the issue.
