Synology to Showcase Comprehensive One-Stop Surveillance Solution at SecTech, Catering to Australia's Growing Surveillance Market

Australia—20 April 2023—Synology has announced that it will be showcasing its comprehensive video surveillance solution at SecTech 2023, taking place from 2nd to 16th May. The solution will highlight the newly released BC500/TC500 surveillance cameras, the smart video management system, the scalable PB-level storage, and a one-stop surveillance solution seamlessly integrated with data protection and archiving functions. These features are aimed at significantly improving the security and efficiency of enterprise surveillance video systems, making deployment and management easier than ever.

"While Synology is known for its NAS products, its video surveillance solution, Surveillance Station, is also trusted and deployed widely by 500,000 clients worldwide, including industry leaders from finance, government, education, and manufacturing, with the largest single deployment spanning over 1,000 sites and 4,000 cameras," said Joshua Orren, the country manager of Synology.

Surveillance Station is software built for the Synology NAS environment, which enables large enterprises to achieve multi-site centralized management and deploy smaller-scale recording servers according to their budget and requirements. With the CMS software, up to 10,000 cameras from 1,000 sites can be recorded and managed on a single portal. Moreover, enterprises can automatically archive recordings to petabyte-level servers or customize archiving schedules to meet retention policies without using up bandwidth during critical hours. Overall, deploying Surveillance Station offers enterprises the ability to ensure device compatibility, as well as effective maintenance and management.

All camera deployment, configuration, management, and firmware updates can be completed on a single interface. The fast and hassle-free installation process simplifies large-scale deployment and optimizes management efficiency and security.
