Not only Synology is updating its hardware regularly to get out some little more speed every time also the firmware gets updates constantly. And this is exactly the most important thing about a NAS. Synology deserve a commendation for that.

The Snyology DS712+ is up to every trick. The great operating system is super easy to handle and makes it very easy for the purchaser. The numerous apps let become the DiskStation a true multi talent which finds its place at home as well as in the office.

The Synology DS212+ convinces with its extensive equipment (among of it USB 3.0), a solid performance and compared to the stronger DS712+ with only half of the power consumption in the sleeping mode when hard discs are turned off.

All of it packed in an inconspicuous, simply black design makes the DiskStation an all-rounder. We could have not wished for better regarding the integration of the smartphones and the dead easy operation.

And here as well: Nothing wiggles, nothing clatters, everything is well processed and well thought-out.
