Synology DiskStations not only offer a great storage solution for media files, but now you can access your photo collection directly from your iPhone or iPod Touch. Synology's DS photo application allows users to access their photo collections stored on the Synology DiskStation and view them through the iPhone or iPod Touch across an internet connection.

DS photo is an easy to use application designed for the iPhone or iPod Touch and can be downloaded for FREE from the Apple App store online.

DS audio allows users to share photos stored on DiskStations with their iPhone/iPod touch where Internet access is available.

Using DS photo requires the following steps.

  1. Add the DiskStation to Your Network View the "How to Article"
  2. Setup Port Forwarding to Access the DiskStation from the Internet View the "How to Article"
  3. Connect DS photo on your iPhone to DiskStation View the "How to Article"
