Web Station

Want to save money hosting your own websites or just want to keep control of your data? Synology's Web Station is the simple and quick solution for you. With built-in support for PHP and MySQL, users can develop a dynamic, database-driven website or install a variety of open-source programs on their Synology DiskStation. In addition, you can simply point your browser to your DiskStation's IP address to view your website. To publish your website and make it available for people to browse on the Internet, you need to configure your DiskStation to use an external IP.

If you are an experienced PHP programmer, you can develop interactive programs on Web Station, such as shopping site, blog, or bulletin board. If you do not want to program yourself, you can also download a variety of open-source programs to help you build your site.

Up to 30 Websites

With Virtual Host, you can host multiple websites on a single Synology DiskStation. After enabling the Web Station, you can host up to 30 websites, all from Web Station.

Personal Website or Blog

By enabling the User Home function then creating a www subfolder in the "home" folder, simply upload a personal website to easily establish a website with a unique URL: http://server-ip/~username
