Privilege & Security

The user management interface allows you to create, edit, or delete users. In addition, the quick search function allows you to find users by simply typing their name in the search field.

Password strength can now be applied to all user accounts to help protect the data and personal information and provide a more secure environment.

Import Users

The Import Users function allows you to create large amounts of user accounts quickly and efficiently. Simply list users in a text or Excel file, and upload it with the Import Users wizard.

User Home

DSM 3.1 automatically creates a “home” folder for every user account. This not only provides each user with a private space to store data, but also eliminates the time and effort spent to repeatedly create shared folders for each account.
