With DS cam, you can watch up to 6 channels1, take snapshot anytime, or perform PTZ actions2 to adjust camera angle. You can also browse through recorded events and use a timeline bar to move backward or fast track. When something happens, get SMS, e-mail or push notifications on mobile device.
DS cam is versatile, as you can watch live feeds and recorded events from any IP camera in the world. Just input the IP address for the hosting DiskStation and you’ll gain instant access on your iOS and Android devices. This means greater flexibility for yourself or your business - safe watching goes anywhere you go.
In addition to receive alert messages in SMS and e-mail, you can also receive push notifications on Skype and Windows Live Messenger or via DS cam on your iOS devices. There are 9 events that can trigger to send a notification, such as when connection is lost, recording fails, or when motion is detected by your IP camera. So choose how you’d like to receive alert messages, or enable all to make sure you don’t miss anything critical.
DS cam is available to iOS and Android users at no extra cost. So when you’re out, you can still see live of what’s going on in your house or office and respond immediately when something does happen.
