Viewing Events

Locate Date and Time Easily

The DiskStation stores countless recorded events. You need a quick and easy way to pinpoint the event you are looking for. Locate the date and time easily on Surveillance Station’s dashboard. Select the date on the calendar; drag the indicator on the Timeline to jump straight to the timeframe that holds the event you are looking for.


Playback Events

In Timeline mode, you can play up to 4 recorded events from different IP cameras simultaneously. While you are moving your cursor along the timeline watching a recording, you can always zoom in and out, adjust volume, take a snapshot image or export the event. The Timeline mode with intuitive navigation bar lets you easily track down a particular moment in anytime.


Sync & Non-Sync Mode

The Sync mode in event playback allows you to play multiple recorded events at the same time. This way, you only have to navigate one single timeline to see things that are happening during different hours in a day from each camera. The Non-Sync mode eliminates the break in between events of a camera, and combines them into one continuous stream without any stops. With Sync & Non-Sync modes, you can view your recorded events in a day with much more efficiency and in less time.


Time Slicing

With events longer than a minute, you can activate Time Slicing which divides the event into 4 separate channels for you to view simultaneously. You will be able to browse through a day’s event faster and more efficiently.


Image Enhancement

There are definitely times when you wish to see the recording better. Perhaps the sunlight is blocking the view, or maybe it’s a facial characteristic that you want to check in detail. With Image Enhancement, you can adjust image attributes in brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness to help you see it better.
