Large-Scale Deployment

Central Management System (CMS)

Central Management System (CMS) is a way to manage IP cameras deployed across different geographical locations in one centralized place. Using Surveillance Station, you can easily connect all your IP cameras hosted on multiple DiskStations to one host DiskStation. So you can watch live views or recorded events within your CMS network from a single interface. Surveillance Station’s CMS feature is an easy-to-setup and cost effective solution for your business.

  • Assign a host DiskStation to monitor IP cam on other servers
  • Ideal for monitoring activities on multiple sites (ex: headquarter, warehouse, and branch offices)

Utilize Camera Group

Managing cameras one by one is time consuming. On Surveillance Station, organize camera into different groups to enhance management efficiency. IT administrator is able locate camera location more easily. For example, cameras on the same location can placed on Live View layout in one go. There’s no need to add cameras individually. Camera groups can be applied to Live View and Timeline, as well as in CMS setup.

Batch Installation & Edit

In environments where large-deployment is required, the project holder may purchase batches of the same camera. Surveillance Station offers the convenience to set up these cameras in one go. It’s not only time-efficient. It helps you to move one step closer to building a secure environment.

  • Shorten installation time by configuring cameras of the same model together
  • Use status dashboard to change video format, image or Live View settings1.

1. Batch edit only applies to cameras of the same model.
