Synology designed the DiskStation with developers in mind, because we recognize the vital role that open source applications play at DiskStation. The Synology 3rd Party Apps Integration section is for developers or system integrators interested in adding their applications to their Synology DiskStations. If developers would like to further enrich their applications by taking advantage of the resources provided by Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), the Web Developers section offers the command tools to bridge the connection between DSM and developer's applications. GPL source is also available upon request.
