On Monday I had a hard drive failure, upon replacing the drives I made a fatal mistake causing my volume to crash. I was unable to rebuild the volume but within a very short time Synology support was able to restore my volume and data. Amazing support! I strongly recommend considering Synology - they have made me a very happy customer - Thank you.
Brilliant product - I just setup cloud station and I can be done with dropbox and all my other sync apps. The range of applications available are amazing. Thanks for a beautiful product!
I've owned a DS110j for a couple of years. I swear by your product. It is so wonderful that you take the time and money to provide updated firmware on a regular basis for FREE. The applications are amazing and plentiful. What more could you ask for? Great product, great price, superior support. There is NOBODY like you folks. I hope you corner the market and get rich. A fan forever. Even got my wife's boss to buy one.
A few years ago I purchased a DS-210j and was impressed the moment I set it up... by the great documentation, clean user interface, simplicity of setup, loads of available services and apps, and the peace of mind it provides having my files backed up locally. Night and day, my DiskStation works reliably and quietly out of sight.
I figured that was the end of the story, but no! Roll forward a few years and your product continues to impress. Recently I downloaded the latest updates, and was happy to see a slew of new services... CloudStation, VPN Server, and so many more - and for FREE! I absolutely love CloudStation. For the guy that doesn't want to hand over his files to Microsoft or Google, this is so great :) Also, the Android apps for my smart phone are awesome. It's unbelievable how much functionality you've crammed into a single product line! And it just keeps getting better and better.
I just wanted to thank you guys for making such an amazing product. I have been using a DS1511+ for over a year now. It is the greatest electronic I have ever purchased. I have been saving up for the 510 expansion bay and I cannot wait to add more storage. I use this every day. Great work guys!
Words cannot describe how impressed I am and how much I love your products. I am very grateful for the amazing dedication of the Synology team to create a product that is so feature-rich, high performance, and easy-to-use. NAS servers are a fairly technical product category that is normally best left to IT professionals. You guys have done the job of not only making NAS servers functional for the average user but a joy to use.
You have an amazing product that for the first time in years has changed my perspective on an entire product category.
Just taking a few minutes to thank all of you at Synology for the great products that you are all building. And also which is even more important; to offer free DSM update to keep the NAS up-to-date.
I recently updated my wife's iPad to iOS Version 5. She asked if she could use the new iOS 5 print feature with our Synology NAS DS210J which is configured as our print server. She tried printing and it did not work. I checked the Synology website and there was already an update that offered AirPrint ... Fantastic !

We have been using NAS drives for many years; a few years ago I came across a site about Synology with great reviews. We decided to purchase the 5 bay DS1010+ and give it a test drive. Let me just say that was the BEST investment we have ever made. Since then we have purchase several Synology products, never had a down time, this is a work horse working 24/7 365 days.
If you are looking for NAS, buy Synology, you will never regret it.
