The Company
Yuen Foong Paper was founded in 1964 and is a subsidiary enterprise under YFY Group. It is a professional service company that has developed from traditional printing entity into a complete printing and related services/products provider. It provides reliable service to customers and partners using efficient and professional technology. Its business scope includes safe prints, commercial bills, digital printing and paper trade, etc.
The Challenge
At corporate level, any information loss or damage can cause great inconvenience. To protect company data, Yuen Foong Paper needed a safe backup solution to guard against loss of any critical files. While attending to the matter, the backup solution also needs to be intuitive and easy-to-use for the PC-challenged employees.

The Result
Yuen Foong Paper now has 4 Synology RackStation RS409+ and 4 extension devices, Synology RX4. Two sets of RS409+ and RX4 are installed in the company headquarter in Taipei, and the other two sets are installed in the plant facilities area.

Once set, the backup task is automated by Data Replicator 3, leaving no files forgotten. Privatization
To efficiently organize employees' backup files and provide privatized data storage, IT staff uses Synology DiskStation Manager internal '' Home Folder '' function to automatically create exclusive folders for each account. Employees can manage the files in their own home folder freely, or use it as general storage space for their files with full control. The IT staff found the “Home Folder” feature eased their workload significantly by dismissing the traditional manual privilege settings routine that’s both time-consuming and inefficient.
