About This Package:
This package is an add-on to Synology® Disk Station Manager 2.0-0722 or above. After installing this package, you will be able to run Logitech® SqueezeCenter 7 on Synology NAS Server without powering on the PC 24/7.
On [System > Package Management] page of Synology Disk Station Manager 2.0 management UI, you can also easily run or stop the SqueezeCenter service, or uninstall this package anytime.
To Install SqueezeCenter Package:
- Upgrade your Synology Product to firmware versions: DSM 2.0-0722 or above.
- Download the file "SqueezeCenterPackage.zip".
- Unzip it to have "SqueezeCenter-7.2-11.spk".
- Go to [System > Package Management] page of Synology Disk Station Manager 2.0 management user interface, and click Install button.
- Follow the Package Installation Wizard to install the package.
To Uninstall SqueezeCenter Package:
- Go to [System > Package Management] page of Synology Disk Station Manager 2.0 management user interface.
- Select the package, and click Uninstall button.
- Click Yes on the pop-up window.

Limitation & Known Issues for all versions
- Users may find their Synology NAS servers hibernation failed after installing SqueezeCenter package. This is because the option of SqueezeCenter automatic software update check is enabled. The issue can be fixed by manually turning off the option with following steps:
- Go to SqueeceCenter management page (http://Server IP:9002/).
- Click Settings.
- Go to Advanced.
- Click the drop down menu and choose Software Updates.
- Choose Don't Check For Software Updates.
- Click Apply.
After applying the setting, please restart the SqueezeCenter service.
- Go back to the DSM 2.0 management page.
- Go to System > Package Management.
- Choose the SqueezeCenter package and click Stop.
- Choose the SqueezeCenter package and click Run.
- Based on the SqueezeCenter operating requirement, it is suggested running SqueezeCenter package on Synology NAS servers with RAM size of 128MB and above. (DS107+.128MB, DS207+, DS209+, CS407, DS408, DS508, RS407, RS408/RP)
