Synology announces comprehensive FREE upgrades in June!
In April 2006 we have proudly announced a series of new products, including the next generation of 1-bay Disk Station, DS-106 and DS-106e, 4-bay Cube Station CS-406 and CS-406e, and Rack Station RS-406. We have added a lot of cool features in the new series, including:
- Download Station: it allows you to continuously download files from Internet without your PC being turned on.
- Multimedia Server: it allows you to play the multimedia files on the server with a UPnP Digital Media Adapter.
- Windows ADS/NT4 Domain Support
- RAID Support for 4-hard-drive models.

Although we have had these new products hitting the market, we are NOT going to drop feature upgrades for old products. The following free upgrades will be
available in mid-to-late June. Please wait until we put the upgrade files on the download page.
