Web Station

Having trouble hosting your own websites? Synology's Web Station is the simple and quick solution for you. With the built-in support of PHP and MySQL, users can develop a dynamic database-driven website by themselves, or install a variety of open-sourced programs on their Synology Disk Station. In addition, you can simply point your browser to http://servername/ to view your website. To publish your website and make it available for people to browse on the Internet, you need to configure your Disk Station to use an external IP.

If you are an experienced PHP programmer, you can develop interactive programs on Web Station, such as shopping site, blog, or bulletin board. If you do not want to program yourself, you can also download a variety of open-sourced programs from Internet and install them on Synology Disk Stations. You can check the famous open-source download site http://sourceforge.net/ and search for programs that suit your need.

Up to 30 Websites

With Virtual Host, you can now host multiple websites on a single Synology Disk Station. After enabling the Web Station, you can host up to 30 websites on Web Station.

Personal Website or Blog

When the User Home function is enabled, by creating a www subfolder under Home folder and uploading personal website onto the www subfolder, users can establish their own website with a unique URL:
http://server-ip/~username.
