Network Backup

Network Backup allows you to back up files from one Synology product to another Synology product (or rsync-compatible server) over the network.

Setup steps:

1. Open a browser window, and point your browser to http://SynologyProduct-IP:5000.
2. Login to the Disk Station Manager using the admin account.
3. Go to Backup > Network Backup Service.
4. Check Enable Network Backup and click OK to enable the service.
   
5. Go to the Backup > Network Backup page, and then press Create to setup a Network Backup task.
   
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
