You can simply install iTunes® on your PC or MAC computers and use iTunes® as a multimedia player to browse and play music and videos stored on your Synology DiskStation. After enabling iTunes® service in DSM 2.3, iTunes® will recognize the Synology DiskStation as an iTunes® client under the SHARED list. Smart PlaylistSynology iTunes® Server's Smart Playlist allows you to create playlists with songs that match the criteria you specify and iTunes® will update these playlists automatically as you add or delete songs. Apple AirPort ExpressSynology iTunes® Server is compatible with Apple® AirPort Express® allowing you to stream music from the server to your desktop or to external speakers via Apple® AirPort Express®.
