iPhone^®/Mobile Access

Internet access continues to grow in popularity on mobile devices, and DSM 2.3 provides users with several creative alternatives to communicate with their DiskStation using an iPhone^® or other mobile devices.

iPhone^® Support

Three iPhone^® applications are now available on the Apple^® App Store.

DS audio DS audio allows users to stream music stored on DiskStation to their iPhone®/iPod Touch® where Internet access is available. Download

DS cam DS cam allows users who own an iPhone®/iPod® Touch to live view their IP cameras (in MJPEG format), take snapshots, and view recorded events from your Surveillance Station whenever network a connection is available. Download

DS photo DS photo allows users to upload photos stored on their iPhone®/iPod Touch® to their DiskStation easily and instantly share them with anyone online. Download

Mobile Device Support

Users with a mobile device running Windows Mobile^® 6.0 (Internet Explorer^® Mobile or Opera^® 9.0 and onward), Symbian OS 9.1 (S60 3rd Edition and onward), or iPhone^® OS 2.3.1 onward can log on to their Synology DiskStation to view photos with Mobile Photo Station. Mobile File Station allows users to read supported file formats from anywhere in the world where Internet access is available.
