The Synology DSM 2.3 live demo server is now available online. Using the demo site, you can take a closer look at the new Synology DSM 2.3 features and changes.

Server information

• Model: Synology DS209+ or Synology DS209+II
• Volume type: RAID 1
• Firmware version: Synology DSM 2.3-1139
• Language: Same with user's browser setting

Login information

• URL: http://demo.synology.com:5000
• Account: admin
• Password: synology

Limitations

• The admin password is not editable
• Volume and shared folders are not removable
• Most settings will not take effect on the demo site
• The following features are disabled:
  • Web Station, FTP, and Photo Station Wizards
  • The "upload" function of File Station
  • Shutdown and reboot
  • Firmware upgrade
  • Package installation
