Download Station turns DS-106j into a 24/7 download center. You only need to drag BitTorrent/HTTP/FTP links to Synology Download Redirector, and the files will be transferred to DS-106jwithout your PC being turned on. The web-based Download Manager can further assist you to manage download tasks remotely with a web browser.

Multimedia Service allows you to play photos, music, and video with an UPnP-enabled Digital Media Adapter on TV or audio set.

iTunes Server support lets users on the network directly play music files stored on DS-106j without having to download them to the desktop.

Audio Station provides an easy way for you to organize music stored on DS-106j and Internet radio stations into playlists, or play your iPod music . By using the Synology Remote, you can remotely control and enjoy the music with connected USB speakers. The directional-free RF signal design allows you to control music freely. Share USB Printer

Sharing USB printer with the members on the network is extremely easy. A variety of printers have been verified to be compatible with DS-106j, and the Add Printer Wizard simplifies the printer setup that usually takes complicated steps or IT help in most printer server products on the market.
