Synology Remote launched at 2007 Taipei Computer Application Show

Taipei, Taiwan—July 26, 2007—Synology, a company well known for manufacturing NAS, will introduce and launch its new product accessory, the Synology Remote, at the Taipei Computer Application Show from August 2nd to August 6th. The Synology Remote is only about the size of a name card and is compatible with all Synology NAS products. Users can now effortlessly listen to the music stored on Synology NAS server, Internet Radio, and iPods through a set of connected USB speakers.

The Radio Frequency technology used in Synology Remote is of directional-free, which allows signals to be accurately received within 20 meters of range, even when blocked by a cement wall.
