Synology Released Firmware v.0462 for DS-106, DS-106e, and DS-101j

Taipei, Taiwan—June 15, 2007—Synology Inc. has announced the release of firmware v.0462 for DS-106, DS-106e, and DS-101j, completing the comprehensive upgrades for NAS series.

The latest firmware v.0462 now supports web-based Download Manager, iTunes Server, and the new option for users to use the optimize CIFS database operations. HTTPS upgrade is also included for DS-106.

Meanwhile, due to the hardware limitation for DS-101g+ and DS-101, Synology Inc. has confirmed a service change. All incoming technical support inquiries for both models will be answered as usual, however, the repair service will be provided with limited resources, and the firmware update and software update will no longer be provided.
